Verben Royal Teak

Teak is a tropical hardwood tree species placed in the flowering plant family Lamiaceae. Tectona grandis is a large, deciduous tree that occurs in mixed hardwood forests.

Teak tree is one of the tropical hardwood trees. This tree is able to withstand changes in the weather and seasons, it also has oil that is water resistant which is essential in protecting it from decay, insects and diseases. This tree also has unique content that and thick fiber that make it easier to cut and mold into any desired forms. These unique characteristics have made teak tree an essential part in carpentry especially of various types of home furniture.

The most attractive characteristic of teak wood is its durability as is highly reluctant to decay and its attractiveness. Solid teak wood is considered to be stronger compared to other wood as it is dense and heavy. It contains natural oil within its cells and it does not shrink or warp due to climate changes. Due to its durability, teak wood can be used in the construction and renovation of the house such as in the construction of the doors and window frames.

Mahogany Tree

Mahogany is a kind of wood—the straight-grained, reddish-brown timber of three tropical hardwood species of the genus Swietenia, indigenous to the Americas, part of the pantropical chinaberry family, Meliaceae.

Mahogany is a commercially important lumber prized for its beauty, durability, and color, and used for paneling and to make furniture, boats, musical instruments and other items.

Indian Mahogany grow up to the height of 30 -40 feet. It is fast upright growing tree with abroad rounded symmetrical crown. It is 20 -30 feet in spread. The fruit is a large greenish brown capsule, splitting into 5 parts relwasing flat, long winged, light brown seeds. Its wood is red brown indian-mahogany-tree in colour.

Both the male and the female flowers are produced on the same plant. The bark is smooth dark brown in colour. The leaves are pinnate which are 12 -25 cm long, with four to eight leaflets.
